Withlacoochee Technical College’s New Barbering Program prepares you to turn your passion for style and grooming into a rewarding career. Through hands-on, real-world training and industry-aligned instruction, you will build the technical expertise and professional skills needed to succeed in today’s barbering industry.

This program blends classroom learning with practical experience, covering essential topics such as barbering techniques, sanitation and safety, Florida barbering laws, and the science behind the profession, including basic chemistry, bacteriology, anatomy, and physiology. You will also develop strong communication, customer service, and leadership skills to help you stand out in the workplace.
