GED® Test Preparation Classes
This course is designed to help students improve their basic skills such as reading and math to prepare for the standard GED® tests. It is a blended classroom with face-to-face instruction supported by computer programs which can be accessed for extended learning at home. Instruction is based on individual needs and abilities.
Requirements:
- 18 years old or older (contact Student Services if under 18 years old)
- Take a CASAS Test or have a current CASAS score of less than one year
FEES:
$40.00 Enrollment fee paid once a year that covers the cost of the CASAS Test
$30.00 Tuition fee per session, per student. Sessions are August – December and January-May
$15.00 Activity fee per year
$10.00 Re-enrollment fee must be paid by a returning student who was withdrawn for 6 consecutive absences
Standard GED® Test:
The GED® test is comprised of four (4) separate tests:
- Reasoning Through Language Arts
- Mathematical Reasoning
- Social Studies
- Science
