Matt's Success Story
When Matt started the Technology Support Services program at WTC he was a young husband and dad seeking a career, not just a job. He’d worked at a variety of places but was only “getting by”.
In 2019, he enrolled in Technology Support Services at WTC. Working while going to school full time was not easy. Sometimes, his pace lagged while juggling his responsibilities but Matt powered through. Next, he completed the Network Systems Administration and Applied Cybersecurity programs, and earned industry certifications in all of them.
Matt is now employed as an IT Systems Analyst with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. His current duties involve maintaining the cameras, intercoms, alarms, and access controls at the jail and other Sheriff’s Office facilities. He’s enjoying a career position with potential for growth while earning a stable income with benefits.
